iFilm English TV to start airing ‘Reyhaneh’

Iranian series ‘Reyhaneh’ has been scheduled to go on iFilm English TV Channel’s playlist.

Airing of the series, produced by Ahmad Shahrabi-Farahani and directed by Sirous Moqaddam, will start on September 5, 2022.

In the series, Reyhaneh’s life changes when she is told that the people who brought her up were not her real parents.

Her parents manage a carpet-weaving workshop and she is also told that her grandmother has a rug which can lead her to find out more about her past, but the rug is stolen.

However, that is just the tip of the iceberg as Reyhaneh’s reluctant aunt reveals the story of her parents.

Notable on the cast list are Roya Teymourian, Ahou Kheradmand, Hassan Pourshirazi, Enayat Bakhshi, Ziba Boroufeh, Iraj Nozari, Zohreh Fakour-Sabour, and Saleh Mirza-Aqaee.

‘Reyhaneh’, produced in 2005, will be a substitution for ‘We Few’ to be broadcast at 21:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00. ‘Reyhaneh’ is comprised of 27 episodes.
